PSG players hand out smiles to children at Robert-Debré hospital

In the run-up to the festive season, players from the main football team visited the Robert-Debré hospital to bring smiles and dreams to sick children and teenagers.

Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha, Marquinhos, Randal Kolo Muani, Luis Hernandez, Aranau Tenas, Fabian Ruiz and Presnel Kimpembe met nearly 75 children hospitalized in the child psychiatry, cardiology, nephrology-dialysis departments and the medical day hospital. They gave them gifts, chatted with them and, above all, became playmates for the duration of the visit, in all simplicity... Their presence brought a burst of inspiration and joy, offering the youngsters a privileged moment full of happiness.

"One of the kids said it was the best day of his life! [...] The players impressed me with their spontaneity and availability. To see them playing cards with the children with such simplicity is really unexpected for such stars. It's a wonderful message they've sent to the children in hospital at the end of the year," explains Richard Delorme, Medical Director of the Institut du Cerveau de l'Enfant.

"It's a special day for us, my team-mates and I are very happy to have been able to interact with the children. As Paris Saint-Germain players, we're proud to be able to bring a little happiness and support to those who need it most. Football goes beyond the pitch, and it's important for us to give back to the community that supports us so passionately," said Presnel Kimpembe, Patron of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation.

Thanks to the players and the PSG Foundation for this shared moment of joy, where sadness and suffering were forgotten for a few hours.
